Are you a therapist or a psychologist interested in expanding your knowledge and adding to your therapeutic approach?

Narrative therapy is a form of therapy that allows you to help your clients become more empowered to enact real, lasting change in their lives, and become more self-compassionate.

Narrative therapy is non pathologizing, empowering, and a collaborative effort between the client and the therapist. You act as the guide, while the client leads the way.

Attend our one-day workshop, and learn what narrative therapy entails, and whether it's the right fit for you and your practice.

When we share our stories, we open ourselves up to connection.

Narrative therapy helps people become the expert of their own lives. Examining the stories that hold you back allows you to understand things from multiple perspectives, and opening yourself up to hearing other people’s stories gives you a deep understanding of what really goes on in the world around you.

Incorporating Narrative Therapy in your sessions will help your clients heal from the damage harmful narratives create.

When you utilize narrative therapy practices, you help your client become the expert of their life and discover what is keeping them stuck.

Narrative Therapy is a wonderful tool to use in your counseling sessions and can help marginalized groups, trauma survivors, those who feel held back by their anxiety and depression, people struggling with eating disorders, etc.

Share this with someone who can use narrative therapy in their practice!

Disappointment is a powerful emotion and can cause us to create unnecessary stories about our circumstances.

When we live more in our minds than our bodies, we set ourselves up for disappointment because we allow our internal world to dictate what is true and what isn't true. This is the same with seeking validation from others. Instead of letting acceptance come from within, we let other people's opinions dictate how we live our lives and what stories we tell ourselves.

Start to rewrite your story by getting out of your head and into your body. Incorporate stretching and exercise into your daily routine, and give yourself lots of healthy love and validation.

If you are interested in implementing the narrative therapy approach in your practice, we offer narrative clinical training andmonthly programs, including a narrative therapy study group and peer to peer supervision.

Narrative Therapy provides a way to control our negative thinking and rewrite strength and responsibility back into our narrative and our lives.

When we share our stories with others, we allow ourselves to be courageous enough to show our more vulnerable side.

What if, instead of hiding, you shared the parts of your life that you are ashamed of?

The ability to open up and share yourself with others is a mark of real strength and resilience. Often, people who are afraid to share their stories are scared of the vulnerability that comes from sincerity. However, sincerity and vulnerability are what connect us!

Figuring out the right way to tell your story can help you heal from traumatic experiences of the past.

It's not always easy to find the words, especially if you are trapped in your ego or held back by creative blockages.

The beauty of the storytelling process is your ability to get to know yourself in new ways as you dive deep within yourself.

Narrative Therapy is a form of therapy that helps you use storytelling to heal from trauma. Being able to find the words to share your experiences allows you to open your heart, connect with others, and change your perspective.

It can be so easy to sink into negativity when faced with life's challenges.

That is fertile ground for creating negative stories and allowing them to rule your life. Turning hard times into bad stories will set you up for failure and prevent you from healing in the future.

Instead, try to put a positive lens on the situation, even if its difficult. Your perspective can always be shifted. The chapter will always end and start again. The power is in your hands to create the story that you want to live.
