What is “PEMDAS”?

“PEMDAS” is the order of operations in mathematics. It is an acronym for the words, Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction. It is a rule that tells the correct sequence of steps for evaluating a math expression.

[Update] Teacher Jay is currently providing private lessons to high school students from various towns in New Jersey, such as Warren, Livingston, New Providence, Morris Plains, Paramus, and Clinton.

Teacher Lydia’s students are also in several different towns including Berkeley Heights and Warren.

Both teachers are also actively conducting online lessons.

It’s been a great year 2022!!
And we look forward to even greater year 2023!!!

Now that we had the last SAT test date of 2022 this weekend, I acknowledge it's been a great year 2022 for all my SAT students!! Considering currently highly sough-after, competitively-paid jobs and careers in the US and around the world, math education has never been more important than now. Best wishes for the great wrap-up of this year/semester and even better hopes for next year, 2023!!! Cheers for you all!!!!!

Happy Veteran’s Day!!!
Here’s an inspiring story about a veteran who found interest in math later, utilized post 9/11 GI Bill, learned various math subjects from Youtube, and made it to become a physicist!

An Army Veteran Learned Advanced Math on YouTube to Become a Physicist When Joshua Carroll discovered his love for physics, he was determined to learn math by any means necessary.
