2021 High School Summer Registration (Three-week program).
Registration is NOW OPEN for our March 6 & 7, 2021 test dates and our May 1 & 2, 2021 test dates.

For 14 years, New York Math Circle has facilitated students’ mathematical quests through discovery and enrichment. We have had the great joy of working with thousands of young people from and beyond the NY tristate area. Along with enthusiastic instructors, we created a place for students to craft proofs and build friendships with others who share their mathematics love.
The American Mathematical Society has recognized our summer program six times with the prestigious Epsilon Award. This selective program, which has had several out-of-state and international participants, is for mathematically motivated students who wish to acquire a deeper insight into mathematics, develop their reasoning and analytical skills, practice for a math team, or simply have fun learning and doing wonderful mathematics.

Dear Math Circle Students and Parents,
Registration for the 2021 Online Spring Program is now open! If you head over now, you can start the registration process. Spots are limited and quickly fill up.
When: January 9 to April 18, 2021, Saturdays or Sundays, 2-hour sessions for 10 weeks.
Where: Online
Cost: $345 (Financial assistance available)
We recommend that new students start in level Middle School A for those below 9th grade, and High School A for those in 9th grade and above. Check out sample problems listed under every level to decide if you are ready for it. If still in doubt about the right level, please ask, and we'll be happy to offer guidance.
Middle School levels run on a one-year cycle, whereas High School levels run on a two-year cycle, so topics vary from semester to semester.
This semester, we are offering contest topics workshops for both High School and Middle School. Students registering for the High School contest topics workshops will be entitled to prioritized free registration for the AMC 10B and AMC 12B online exams to be held on February 10.
Once you start the program, we expect you to come for the full semester.
Any course for which fewer than 10 students register may have to be canceled.
New students will have to take a placement exam. Full details can be found on the registration page.
We're looking forward to a wonderful spring with you at the New York Math Circle!

PRIME (The PRISMS Invitation Math Event)
---
We would love to invite your students to participate in The PRIME (The PRISMS Invitational Math Event), our math competition for middle school students in grades 6th through 8th. As you know, there aren't many fun math competitions for middle school students, and ours has become very popular, attracting students from three states. We offer an added bonus: our competition features International Math Olympiad Gold Medalists on site to encourage and inspire our contestants. This is an exciting, fun, and unprecedented opportunity for your students to meet and mingle with some of the best young mathematicians in the world.
At The PRIME, your students will have a fun day of "playing math" with others from the NJ/NY/PA area, held at our campus in Princeton, NJ.
This year, The PRIME will be held on Saturday, April 21. Attached, please find our flyer for this event that includes the event website, www.prismsevents.com, where you can find more information about the schedule, rules and registration, and our organizing team. Please forward this letter and attachment to your Math Department Chair, or the right person to encourage a team to jump in and give The PRIME a try. Teams of four are preferred, but individual contestants are warmly welcomed. The fee is $50.00 per team or $15.00 per individual.
Expect prizes, surprises, and a full day of fast paced math fun! We hope to see your school represented this year.
Please be aware that we have a limited enrollment and we sell out each year, so it's best to register quickly. If you have any questions, please call 609-454-5580.
Thank you and happy Spring!

The seventh annual South Brooklyn Invitational Mathematics Competition at FDR High School will be held on Saturday, 3 March, 2018. This team competition modeled as a mini-ARML, includes a team round, a power round, an eight question individual round and a relay round. The contest is open to teams of six students with alternates. Please use the following form to register your teams (there is no registration fee):
The SBIMC was created to show our students that the community of mathematics enthusiasts extends beyond our classrooms. The contest is focused at the level of NYCIML Junior to Senior B divisions and is designed for students who would not necessarily get the chance to attend ARML or NYSML.
We will provide students with a snack mid-morning snack lunch in the afternoon (pizza and soda). Each student will receive a contest t-shirt.
FDR is located on 20th Avenue and 58th Street in Brooklyn with the F and N trains within walking distance. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM and the contest and awards ceremony should end at 3:30 PM.
You can find prior contest questions and answers (mostly) on the SBIMC web page (scroll to the bottom of the page).
