Since 1988, Jeff Douglas has been involved in security. Landing his first job at Alexander's department store, next door to the prestigious retailer Bloomingdale's, Jeff is considered a journeyman in security. He has gained experience in nearly every type of job in the security field: from retail to corporate, fire guard to fire safety director, bouncer to bodyguard. Coupled with considerable experience in customer service, Jeff has become a well-versed security consultant. He has even helped land contracts for several security companies, becoming a commendable example of the model security officer. Now having been a student at Flynn & Loveridge Security Training LLC where he received certification as a security instructor, Jeff is bringing all his real world experience to the students in the security field. Jeff even had the privilege to meet the team of Flynn and Loveridge, the gentlemen that contributed some of the rules and regulations for the Department of Criminal Justice’s Security Guard Act of 1992. Jeff has earned many certificates in his career and has taken classes that are the standards for all Security officers: The 8-Hour Pre-assignment Certificate course; the 16-Hour On The Job Training Certificate; Fire Guard (F-01), Fire Safety Director (F-58), Evacuation Action Plan Director (F-59); Self-defense for Security Officers; 47-Hour Armed Guard; Anti-terrorism training, and Behavioral Analysis Techniques in Security. Most recently, Jeff has become a certified CPR/BLS instructor.
