The NYU International Education Student Board is excited to host our first webinar with Dr. Fabrice Jaumont, who will be speaking about his book, The Bilingual Revolution. Join us to learn about his work supporting language immersion programs in New York City schools and how to build opportunities for students to become bilingual. Moving away from the English dominated education in the US, Dr. Jaumont has pioneered the way to advocate for more bilingual schools in the United States. We will have the opportunity to hear from him and ask questions surrounding advocacy for bilingualism. Attendees will also learn how monolingual speakers can help pioneer new ways of language learning.

Finals stressing you out? Group projects eating up your time? Winter blues getting you down?
Cozy up this Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:00 pm as we wind down from the semester and celebrate all our hard work, as well as our winter graduates! Join us in Silver 905 for the famous Vanessa's Dumplings, Wine, and other festive refreshments. Dress in your most festive holiday attire and be prepared to sing your heart with our Karaoke machine. For those who would like to participate, we will have a white elephant gift exchange ($5 max.). Come eat, drink, and be merry!

Ever dream of what the inside of the UN looks like? Well now is your chance! IESB and Steinhardt GSO are sponsoring a trip to tour the United Nations headquarters. Join us on Friday, Dec. 6 at 4:00 pm as we take a ride uptown on the 6 train and explore the big shiny building surrounded by national flags. IESB will provide tickets to the first 10 students who register!
