Day 4 at The Met—A Perfect Finale to an Incredible Symposium
We concluded the 25th ICTMD Study Group on Musical Instruments Symposium with an unforgettable day at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Surrounded by centuries of musical history in the Musical Instruments collection, we reflected on everything we’ve explored this week—linking theory with material culture in the most inspiring setting imaginable.
Thank you to The Met, the Department of Musical Instruments & the Head of the Department – Jayson Dobney for hosting us, Ken Moore for providing us with a curated exhibition experience, and to every attendee who made this experience so rich.
