A birthday I’ll never forget. 🤍

Receiving this letter from , recognizing during 's Week of the Young Child, is truly an honor.

This work has never just been about running a school. It’s about building a community, supporting families, and creating environments where children can grow, learn, and thrive. To see that impact acknowledged at the state level is incredibly meaningful.

Week of the Young Child is a reminder of why this work matters so deeply. Early childhood education lays the foundation for everything that follows, and I am so proud of the role Ellie’s Academy plays in that journey every single day.

Grateful, humbled, and even more motivated to continue this work.

Artsy Thursday is all about the process, not the product 🎨

Today was about little hands exploring, feeling, and creating through sensory experiences. The paint, the textures, the freedom to express… that’s where the real learning happens. It’s not about what it looks like in the end, but what they experience along the way.

Work Together Wednesday at

Yesterday, our classrooms focused on the power of collaboration. From our youngest learners engaging in parallel play and shared experiences, to our older children working together on group projects, each classroom embraced what it means to work toward a common goal.

These moments are where essential life skills are built: communication, cooperation, problem-solving, and respect for others’ ideas. Children learned how to take turns, share materials, express their thoughts, and navigate working as part of a team, all within developmentally appropriate experiences.

No matter the age, today was a reminder that learning is stronger when we do it together, and that even our smallest learners are capable of meaningful collaboration.
