Are you a CUNY student living in NYCHA? Get $1,000 for College!

Applications are now open for the 2026 NYCHA–CUNY Resident Scholarship. This is a one-time $1,000 award.

Eligibility requirements include:

-Authorized NYCHA public housing or Section 8 resident
-Currently, enrolled full-time at a CUNY college (undergraduate or graduate)
-At least 24 credits
-Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

Application requirements include:

-Completed application via NYCHA Self-Service Portal
-750-word essay

As the semester winds down, you know what time it is! ARC is having their final campus-wide produce distribution. This event is exclusively for KCC students, staff, and faculty.
Rules:
If you bring a family member to help, they may assist you, but they cannot pack a separate bag.
If your family member also works at KCC, they must attend separately to pack their own bag—no double-packing allowed.
Required:

Your patience
A kind and mindful spirit
A bag - preferably insulated to keep your items fresh
Student I.D for FREE insulated bag - visit Public Safety L-201 if you need your student I.D
