🌱🌼 Learning beyond the classroom! 🌼🌱

Our 2nd graders enjoyed a wonderful visit to the community garden on East 118th Street, where they became young scientists, artists, and writers! Students carefully observed nature, recorded their discoveries through writing, and brought their observations to life with detailed drawings. 🍃🦋✏️

A special thank you to the community garden for welcoming our students and providing such a beautiful space to explore, learn, and connect with nature. 💚

Shout out to Mrs. Sanpietro and Ms. Mackic for capturing these special moments and celebrating student learning through their photos! 📸✨

🎨✨ A Panther Spotlight! ✨🎨

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Pre-K student, Karmel Anaya, whose artwork was featured in the Manhattan Borough Arts Festival Visual Arts Exhibit! 🖼️💙

Karmel showcased his creativity and artistic talent through a beautiful mixed media self-portrait using oil pastels and watercolor. Having artwork displayed in a borough-wide exhibit is an amazing accomplishment—especially at such a young age! 🌟

At P.S. 155, we are committed to nurturing a love for art, creativity, self-expression, and authenticity, empowering our students to share their unique voices with the world.

A very special thank you to Mrs. Dias, our Mixed Media Art teacher, whose passion for the arts continues to inspire, uplift, and cultivate the incredible talents of our students. 💙🐾

🎨✨ ¡Un momento de orgullo Panther! ✨🎨

This spring at PS 155, our K–2 students are diving into chess ♟️
Through play, they’re developing critical thinking, problem-solving, patience, and perseverance—skills that go far beyond the board.
Every move matters. Every child growing. Every day.
