American Barber Institute Only Barber School located in Manhattan. Helping people become barbers for the last 30 years. A.B.I. is handicap accessible.

American Barber Institute (ABI) is licensed by the New York State Department of Education. Our facility includes two floors, the first is used for hands on practical training. Our downstairs floor is devoted to the theoretical and practical component of the program training. Our school’s facility is 3,000 square feet, which makes us one of the largest schools of its type in the New York City area.

While, ABI has a large and spacious facility we are equally proud of the class sizes for both our theory classes and practical experience.
