We have exciting news!🎉

Starting today as part of our 8th grade transition program, students and their families will participate in workshops led by Jake Sussman (TSS ‘10), in collaboration with Superpower Mentors.

Welcoming Jake back to campus to share his story and guide students on a journey he’s experienced firsthand is a powerful, full-circle moment for us!

As a TSS alum, Jake offers a unique perspective grounded in lived experience and connects with our community in an authentic, relatable, and encouraging way.

We are excited to announce a collaboration with
to bring top STEM talent into Superpower Mentors.

Through this collaboration, Superpower Mentors will be featured as a student job opportunity, while also reaching out directly to standout student leaders who are aligned with our mission.

For us, this is about more than talent alone. It is about developing leaders who use their strengths to invest in the next generation.

This is just the beginning as we continue building a mentor network defined by talent, character, and impact.

This week was challenging for many of our mentees, and went against everything we believe in.

This past week, the world spoke up loudly in support of Dyslexics pursuing their dreams after common stereotypes were brought out in the public forum.

Comments our dyslexic mentees hear throughout their lives.

“You are not capable of XYZ.”

At Superpower Mentors, we believe that anyone has it within themselves to achieve anything they set their mind to.

There is a phrase that we live by:
“If your mind can conceive it you can achieve it.” - Napoleon Hill

That moment mattered. It reminded people of something that should have never been questioned in the first place. And it showed what ~20% of the population experience routinely.

Here’s the thing: potential is not defined by how someone reads, writes, or comprehends. It is defined by perseverance, grit, and being able to get up when knocked down.

Every day, there are young people who are made to feel like they are stupid, less-than, or not worthy of success. Like they are different in a way that limits them.

And while their path may look different, different does not mean less. In many cases, it means stronger. It means more creative. It means more resilient.

Dyslexia is not a weakness.
It is the key.

History has shown us that some of the most impactful leaders, builders, and thinkers share this trait.

But belief does not always come naturally.

It is shaped by environment, by experiences, and by the people who choose to see potential before it is fully realized.

Sometimes, all it takes is one person to shift how someone sees themselves.
One voice that says, “You are capable,” when the world has suggested otherwise.

That is the power of mentorship. A reminder that no one achieves anything great alone, and that guidance, perspective, and belief can change the trajectory of a life.

The conversation this week was a reminder that the narrative around learning differences is still being written, and it is up to all of us to write it correctly.

Because when someone learns to see themselves not through the lens of limitation, but through the lens of possibility, everything changes.

And once that shift happens, there is no ceiling on what they can achieve.

We match students with mentors who share their specific brain type-so they can learn from someone who has already turned this processing style into a career advantage. comment SPM and l'Il send you the details.

Meet Eden, a mentor who shows teens and young adults what is possible when you embrace your unique brain. Eden has ADHD and credits it as the fuel behind her creativity, leadership, and success.

As Founder and CEO of Quis Agency, she has led campaigns with global brands including Dove, Samsung, and Amazon, and previously built her foundation in finance at KPMG.

Eden brings that same strategic mindset and lived experience to Superpower Mentors. She knows what it takes to turn neurodivergent strengths into real world confidence.

In her words:

“Being a mentor has allowed me to use my real world experience to help young adults build structure, confidence, and belief in their own potential.”

This is what happens when young people are guided by someone who has walked the path and learned to see their ADHD as a superpower.

Ready to match your teen to a mentor like Eden? Send us a DM and we’ll find a time to meet our team for a free consultation.

Meet Tyler, a professional artist and sound engineer with millions of Spotify streams, an OCD advocate, and a dedicated Superpower Mentor.

What is most inspiring is that mentoring has been so meaningful that Tyler returned to school to pursue Mental Health Counseling. Working with neurodivergent youth did more than change the lives of his mentees. It reshaped his own.

Tyler says it best:
“I became a mentor to give others the compassion and understanding that helped me grow. So many people lifted me up, and it is my turn to pay it forward. This experience has shaped who I am and brought deep fulfillment.”

Parents often ask what makes a great mentor. The answer is people like Tyler, grounded, empathetic, creative thinkers who have walked their own journey and are ready to lift someone else up
