The CCNY Open House on October 25th in The Great Hall was a great success! The Division of Science table saw an excellent turnout, with many prospective students and their families stopping by to learn more about our programs. Faculty and staff from across the Division were on hand to answer questions, share insights about our departments, and highlight the exciting opportunities available for future scientists at CCNY. It was a wonderful day of engagement, curiosity, and community spirit.

At the 2025 Service & Excellence Awards Ceremony, Denise Addison was honored with the President’s S.T.A.R. Award, and María Sánchez-Muñiz received the Provost’s Award for Pedagogical and Curricular Innovation! 👏🎉

📐✨ The Physics Department hosted its second annual Integration Bee yesterday, and it was anything but quiet! Nearly 40 students battled it out in the qualifiers, with the top 16 advancing to the final bracket. What followed was a high-energy showdown filled with cheers, gasps, and even shouts of joy as integrals were cracked live on stage. It wasn’t just a math competition—it was an emotional rollercoaster and a celebration of brainpower, community, and pure academic adrenaline! 🧠🎉🔥
