Students will follow their same schedule but each period will be shorter. The school day will end at approximately 1:44 pm and after the school day, teachers will be available for office hours (remote and in-person). 🔜🗓🕑

⭐️Strong Start⭐️ Our reopen plan has been submitted to NY state. Pending the Governor’s orders (issued next week) GO-NYC plans to offer two models for our families. Your child, your choice! Model 1) Hybrid: Students come to school every other day. When off students will join ELA and Math lessons via a live stream using a robot camera, which tracks the teacher and students as they speak (see pictures). For families who want a 100% remote option, we are offering this too! Our building is immaculate, bright, safe and ready for scholars! We miss our students and families.

GO-NYC plans to open school with a hybrid schedule (one day in-person, one day remote instruction) with the ability to go 100% remote pending NY Governor’s order in early August. We will begin with orientation days for all grades. August 24th for 6th graders, August 25th for 7th graders and August 26th for 8th graders. We lost a pillar of the civil rights movement. Rep. John Lewis received the presidential medal of freedom for his dedication to civil rights, freedom and equality. We mourn the loss of this man and thank him for the countless lives he touched. Rest In Peace, John Lewis.
