Pursuing a career in HVAC? Learn more about available certifications, which are required, and how to obtain them.

If you’re entering the HVAC field and plan to handle refrigerants, you will be required to get your EPA 608 certification. There are some optional certifications you can obtain, like NATE or HVAC Excellence. Some states and cities may require you to hold additional licenses.
