Yesterday I had the time of my life participating as a vendor and judicial candidate at the 4th Annual Riverdale Block Party. From the moment I set up my tent and table at 11:00 a.m. until I departed at 5:30 p.m., I was continually engaged by a diverse array of people. It was an incredible experience connecting with the community as both an award-winning author and a judicial candidate. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my immediate family and my colleagues, Shekera and Joy, for their unwavering support throughout the day. Additionally, a huge thank you to the Riverdale Main Street Alliance Bronx for organizing such an outstanding event! Great memories!

Had an incredible time at Eastwood Manor on 05/10/24, celebrating the wonderful mothers of Bronx County with R.A.I.N. Boston East OAC! Kudos to Ms. Sylvia Johnson and Ms. Sandra Martinez and their team for putting on a truly fun event!
A special highlight was Speaker Carl Heastie’s inspiring speech, honoring all the amazing mothers in attendance. It was also heartwarming to witness Council-member Kevin Riley present flowers to Ms. Evelyn Bennett as she celebrated her 96th birthday!

Attending the Mother’s Day event organized by Council-member Salamanca, Jr. at the Bronx Zoo on March 9th was an absolute delight. Surrounded by great company, I had the pleasure of experiencing a splendid and memorable occasion, highlighted by the beautiful music performed by our youth group, Music With A Message “MWAM.” Council-member Rafael Salamanca, Jr., your dedication to fostering such enriching experiences for the community is truly appreciated.
