Yesterday, tutors and tutees gathered for orientation, marking the beginning of another meaningful year within the YMM community.
We are so honored and excited to continue our mission with a new batch of students in their journey towards bright futures!

Last Saturday, as we wrapped up another year of our HSPA program, students, tutors, and families came together to celebrate the incredible work of our sixth, seventh, and eighth graders! Week after week, they showed up with focus and heart, and we couldn’t be prouder of all they’ve accomplished. We shared a beautiful evening full of laughter, stories, and lots of great food. And as our eighth graders get ready to begin their next chapter in high school, we carry forward the joy, commitment, and community that defined this year. And there’s still so much more to come!

The HSPA is in full swing - and the growth we’ve seeing from our students is nothing short of amazing. Every session they’re tackling challenges, gaining confidence, and making incredible strides toward their goals. We’re thrilled to see the program thriving and can’t wait to share more about our students continued rise to the occasion!

As we end our HSPA program for the year, parents and tutors gathered to emotionally celebrate the amazing effort of all our wonderful seventh and eighth graders! We are so proud of their work over this past year, overcoming many obstacles on their road to a very bright future. Tears were shed, bread was broken, and thanks was given to all. Things have only just begun!

When prompted how the High School Prep Academy impacted them with their challenges and was truly meaningful, our students made genuine, eager, and heartfelt responses.

Congrats to all our students on a successful year! We are all so incredibly proud of how far you have come in various facets, and the work you’ve put in to get there!

“Technology offers opportunities to be more actively involved in the learning experience” - Vanessa Vega | Recently, the students at the HSPA program were generously given laptops by an anonymous donor to aid in their studies. With these new laptops, new doors have been opened for the students’ educational experience and improvement. The ability for a child to have access to the Internet is vital, allowing growth in academic subjects, high school applications, and exploration in personal goals/interests. We are so blessed!
