I was 29 when my brother Steve took his life, so I know first-hand how grief as a young adult can feel especially destabilizing.

Our 20s and 30s are when we're building the structure of our adult lives, so a loss this deep can affect our relationships, our career path, and even our very identity. That's why Coping After Su***de offers a unique national 20s and 30s Group, facilitated by Steven Karaiskos, a social and emotional learning expert who lost his own partner, David, to su***de.

The group is starting next month, and is a chance to connect with peers who really get it.

Join us June 4-5 for an interactive, online training series on facilitating peer support groups for children and teens (if you can't make it live, the recordings and materials will be provided to everyone who registers).

The training will be led by Joan Hoff, who spent over 30 years with The Dougy National Center for Grieving Children and Families.

Facilitator Training (Youth) | CopingAfterSu***de This interactive, online training workshop series is for anyone with a personal or professional interest in facilitating peer support groups for children, preteens, and teens (ages 6-18). 

Join author Jenny Baltazar, a treasured member of our support group facilitator corps, for a Deep Dive Workshop into her book "Urgent Soul Care: Navigating Life After Losing Someone to Su***de."

This 4-week interactive online workshop will include in-depth exploration, guided conversation, reflection prompts, and journaling tools.

Week 1: Body & Safety – Stabilizing your system.
Week 2: Mind & Mercy – Untangling guilt and "why."
Week 3: Spirit & Love – Rebuilding radical self-care.
Week 4: Honoring Growth & Grief – Carrying the light forward.

"Parenting Grieving Children, Adolescents, and Teens" is a four-week Deep Dive workshop exploring how children, adolescents, and teens grieve a su***de death, what they need, and how to support them.
