Another 'Kali and Friends' Glen Island Picnic came and went....Just like that ! All that long expectations and preparation. .disappeared in one joyful sweep.
The clean-up ,however ,is still ongoing.
And so i must now express my sincerest gratitude to the Almighty, the Universe and its inhabitants.
Collectively ,i am grateful for every single assistance and care that has been offered to make the happy gathering a bountiful success.
In no special order, i want to thank various individuals ,enterprises and businesses in our Bronx and neighboring communities that went beyond the norm to participate.

Spencers Plumbing Supplies(233rd st) ,TaxMan Shippy Accounting( 233rd st) ,The 233rd Family ,Ramsay Land Surveying , Rage Graphic and Printing, Calabash Collections w/ Father Bailey, Irie Dale (Stewart) Inc., Ghetto Phonics Music-Billy Bronco, William Wright & the Queens Entourage ,'Blacks' with the Long Island classic crew ,MC Shugga and a host of individuals who privately supported the event.
It would take a moment to exhaust the List of supporters and Donors that further contributed to the main purpose of the event,...The Ferris Back2School Project (Westmoreland ,JA.), We are still collecting donation & sponsorship for this Project in the form of School supplies (books ,pencils ,laptops back packs ,sporting goods and monetary support)
