East Mountain Studio

We had so much fun accompanying the kids at Foundry Montessori for their celebration of International Day! Each child chose a country to represent, and learned a bit about their heritage, celebrating where they came from. This was our 4th year in a row to play with the kids - a little bittersweet as it's our daughter's last year at this amazing school. We played Peace Like a River, Hello to All the Children of the World, Crowded Table (a song about sharing your table and how everyone belongs), and We Are the World. Such a beautiful day, and the kids brought tears to my eyes with their singing.

🎶😊 Our student showcase was so much fun!! It was so great to gather together, hear some music and support these young musicians. Lots of original songs in the mix as well- so amazing to watch these songwriters grow. Thank you to all of our performers and families!!

Does your 9-12 year old love music? Our Songwriting Summer Camp is nearly sold out, but we have a few spots left for Week 1 (July 6-10). This will be our older more advanced week, however we welcome beginners! Kids play in a band, write a song as a team, try out instruments (piano, guitar, bass, drums, singing on a mic), learn about songwriting, harmony/melody/rhythm, plus we do a daily hike. Summer Songwriting Camp In one week our campers write and record an original song together as a team, then give a fun performance for family at the end of the week! Explore instruments–piano, guitar, drums, bass and singing with a microphone. Beginners are welcome!! :)
