From one side of the US to the other, as Executive Director of The New York Performing Arts Academy (The NYPAA), I have the honor of traveling to meet exceptional talent in the arts. Actors, Singers, Songwriters, etc. and I can honestly say I'm thrilled to scout talent this year at the esteemed IMTA in Los Angeles!

This premier event draws the brightest stars of tomorrow, and The NYPAA is eager to discover exceptional talent. We're renowned for nurturing raw potential, providing top-tier training, and guiding passionate performers towards fulfilling careers in the heart of New York City.

Over the next few days I'll share the dynamic energy of the IMTA, so keep a look out for my updates. The NYPAA doesn't just seek talent; we foster it. We recognize the potential that lies within every aspiring artist and provide the tools and guidance needed to unlock it.

So, to everyone here in Los Angeles, at the IMTA, don't hesitate to shine! Showcase your exceptional skills, embrace the learning opportunities, and let us walk alongside you as you navigate the captivating journey towards your artistic dreams. ✨

PS: Don't worry New York, I'll be home on the 15th. Just in time to miss the snow...lol...(hopefully).

As the final curtain falls on 2023, echoes of a symphony both beautiful and broken resonate in our hearts.

This year, the stage of life saw heroes dance with tragedy, justice clash with indifference, and the spotlight of awareness shine on wounds both old and new. We witnessed the unyielding spirit of resilience amidst climate's wrath, the defiant roar of voices against oppression, and the silent tears of communities scarred by loss.

Within the hallowed studios of our artistic dreams, budget cuts threatened to dim the lights and silence the music. But even in the shadows, creativity found refuge, whispering hope through movement, roaring defiance through monologues, and offering solace through melodies both mournful and defiant.

In your eyes, I saw not just ambition, but resilience. In your voices, I heard not just melody, but courage. In your movements, I witnessed not just grace, but unyielding strength.

For you, the artists, are the weavers of dreams, the menders of hearts, the mirrors reflecting back the truth, however harsh. You are the storytellers, the healers, the lighthouses guiding through the storm. Though challenges may dim your lanterns, they can never extinguish the fire within.

So, as we turn the page to a new year, I urge you to never let that flame within you flicker. Pursue your dreams with the same relentless passion you bring to every class, every audition, every performance.

And remember, as you journey toward your goals, know that you are not alone. We, your community, stand here, ready to applaud your triumphs, lend a hand in your struggles, and celebrate every step you take on this wondrous path.

For me, even though this year was marked by shadows, I hold onto the hope that 2024 will be bathed in the spotlight of talent, perseverance, and radiant artistry. You have the power to change the world, to move hearts, to mend broken wings and make them soar.

So, my NYPAA family, go forth and create. Perform your stories, sing your songs, dance your truth. Leave your mark on the world, not just in our studios. And know that in the tapestry of my memories, you are the threads of gold, forever woven into the fabric of my heart.

As we step onto the stage of 2024, let us carry the echoes of this symphony – both the beauty and the brokenness – as fuel for our art. Let the shadows we faced, the battles we fought, and the tears we shed become embers that ignite our performances, fuel our monologues, and give weight to every graceful movement. May this new year be bathed not just in the spotlight of our talent, but in the unwavering spirit we forged together through trials. For though the curtains may close on chapters, the applause of our dreams echoes forever, reminding us that we are not alone in this grand, unscripted drama. Let us rise, my NYPAA family, as a united chorus, a symphony of resilience, ready to sing the future into existence.

Happy New Year.
