Hi! We’re Know 2 Grow. Know 2 Grow is a tutoring and creative extracurricular program designed to educate, illuminate, & empower our youth in our community to become well rounded, intelligent, intuitive leaders. We encourage you to contact us by phone, email, or text message and discuss the benefits of the variety of impactful programs we provide, from traditional elementary school exam prep, to creative arts workshops designing canvases with graffiti or learning about Usain Bolt on the track. We highlight women & black indigenous people of color (BIPOC) as heroes to promote self-confidence and allow our youth to feel validated in trying their best & aiming for the stars.

On August 12th - 14th, & 17th - 19th, via Zoom, Families Together in NYS are hosting a Virtual Youth Leadership Forum, a free 6 day event for young people to speak their minds, build leadership and self-advocacy skills, and prepare to take on leadership roles. We know that the wheels of change begin with us. To impact the development of our youth, we support transparency, visibility, and leadership, and we bring those aspects to our work. Depending on the age of your child, you might be having some tough conversations with them about current events. To spark communication, or to prepare yourself for upcoming hot topics, you can always make movie night a little different: Netflix has some quality films and documentaries talking about the black experience and it’s history. Summer is officially here, which means it’s time to get cracking on the summer reading lists! Reading is a critical asset to our youth, and the reasons stretch farther than just passing tests. Helping listening skills, building empathy, and forging a strong bond with your child are just a few of the reasons to ensure reading as a staple in their homes. We are an education and creative program designed to educate, enrich, and empower the lives of our underserved youth, bringing together academic studies, artistic, and creative skills and interests such as illustration, photography, and music, through the lens of diversity and culture that identifies with and emboldens our young citizens. We want this to be the gateway through which our future leaders can feel intelligent, independent, and valued.

our teachers not only come accredited with years of tutoring experience, but come from diverse backgrounds that allow young kings and queens to understand their own background, culture, and opportunities.
