AI ( Artificial Intelligence) - technology that simulates human intelligence in performing a variety of tasks

First Reading:

Focus on the introduction and main points of the article. Skim through the sections and its titles- those are your "helpers" in getting the gist- the general idea.

Second Reading:

Identify interesting facts/examples that connect to the main points of the paragraphs. Focus on interesting new words or expressions such as "deepfakes", "at the cutting edge", "at the root of", " for the sake of".

See if you can find (in your head, not "Google") a substitute for words like "troubling" in "troubling questions" or "tough" in "tough place". You may be surprised to discover how much vocabulary you already know and how effectively your brain activates it if you already know the main idea and pay attention to the context ( the sentence before and after).
