It is with great pleasure that we announce the newest recruit to our cardiothoracic residency.
Scarlett Tohme is the daughter of immigrants and the first physician in her family. She graduated from Columbia University with a BA in biology and obtained a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University prior to matriculating at New Your Medical College. She is scheduled to graduate in May and begin her Integrated Thoracic Surgery Residency with us in July 2021.
Scarlet is very active in research and has many presentations and publications early in her career, She is the Vice President of Medical School Student Council and is a recipient of the Golden Humanism Award. We look forward to everyone meeting her in the coming months.
