The 2025-26 Girls Badminton Championship featured Bronx Science taking on Stuyvesant this past Monday at Franklin D. Roosevelt H.S. in Brooklyn.

It was a great matchup pitting the two best teams throughout the season for the title, but the firepower from Bronx Science proved to be too much as the Wolverines won their first ever girls badminton title, knocking off a very strong Stuyvesant for the crown, 3-2.

The 2A Boys Volleyball Championship was contested on Sunday afternoon at York College with Bayside and Fort Hamilton squaring off for the title.

It proved to be a closer contest with each of the two sets featuring exciting and high level action, but it was Bayside that was able to come through late in each set with big plays helping the Commodores to the straight sets victory, and the 2A volleyball title.

The 1A Boys Volleyball Championship was held this past Sunday at York College in Queens and pitted two Manhattan powers with Fiorello LaGuardia taking on East Harlem Pride for the title.

LaGuardia put together a masterful performance in set one, and while East Harlem did a very good job in the second set getting back into the match, it was LaGuardia who proved to be too much with the Lions taking home the 1A championship after a straight sets victory.

The 2025-26 Boys Lacrosse Championship was a rematch of last seasons title contest as Curtis took on South Bronx Prep at Midwood Athletic Complex in Brooklyn on Saturday.

It was a strong offensive showing from both schools early, but a big third quarter defensive performance from South Bronx Prep would give them a lead that they would never relinquish helping the Eagles capture their second straight PSAL lacrosse title with a 14-10 victory over the Warriors.

Friday had the conclusion of the Boys Individual Tennis Championships which were held at Flushing Meadow Corona Park in Queens.

A great singles competition would finish with Benjamin Cardozo’s Vincent Chang taking home the title for a second straight year, while the doubles would have the duo of Samuel Ginsburg and Lukasz Rossochacki from Brooklyn Tech take the victory in what was a great couple days of impressive high level tennis!
