When it comes to writing, one of the most important things you can do is engage your audience or reader.
This means more than just telling them what you're writing about - it means showing them. And the best way to do this is through the use of specific, vivid language.
Use words that paint a picture in the reader's mind, and be sure to include details that will help them feel like they're right there in the middle of the action.
The more immersive your writing is, the more engaged your audience will be.
So next time you sit down to write, remember to show, don't tell!

What do all of these details have to do with writing a good paragraph? A lot!
In order to write well-organized and coherent paragraphs, you need to focus on one main idea per paragraph. This is expressed clearly in the topic sentence, which is supported by the body of the paragraph. Each sentence should connect logically to the next, using transitional words where necessary. The concluding sentence ties up the paragraph neatly.
If you want to improve your writing skills, start by practicing these principles for writing effective paragraphs.

Women's Equality Day commemorates the certification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution in 1920, granting women the right to vote.
The amendment was first proposed by suffragist leader Elizabeth Cady Stanton in 1878. It took over 40 years of campaigning and protesting before finally being ratified.
Women's Equality Day is a day to celebrate how far women have come and to recommit to the fight for full equality.
Despite significant progress, women still face barriers in many areas of life. They earn less than men for doing the same work, are underrepresented in leadership positions, and experience higher levels of violence and harassment.
On this day, we remember the women who fought for our right to vote and pledge to continue their fight for full equality. Let's use our voices and our vote to create a more just and equal society for all.

📌 4 MODES OF WRITING
☑️ Expository writing is factual and objective, without any personal opinion or bias. This mode is often used for academic writing, such as essays or research papers.
Example – A recipe explaining how to make spaghetti.
☑️ Persuasive writing is designed to influence the reader's opinion on a given topic. This mode is often used for marketing or advertising purposes.
Example – An essay written to support the perspective that students should not be allowed to use their cell phones in school.
☑️ Narrative writing tells a story and is often personal in nature. This mode can be used for both fiction and non-fiction stories.
Example – A science fiction story about visiting aliens that live on Pluto.
☑️ Descriptive writing uses sensory details to describe a person, place, object, or experience. This mode is often used in travel writing or poetry.
Example – A detailed discussion of your trip to the beach that allows the readers to imagine the sounds, smells and what the cool sea feels like against your skin.
We hope you’ve found this overview of the four modes of writing helpful. Each mode is useful in its own way, and knowing which mode to use for a given task can make the writing process easier.

As a writer, it is important to be able to identify different modes of writing.
Each mode has a different purpose and audience, and understanding this can help you to choose the right mode for your own writing.
For example, if you are writing an essay for school, you will need to use a different mode than if you are writing a blog post.
The mode of writing you use should be based on your purpose and audience.
In general, there are four main modes of writing: expository, persuasive, narrative, and descriptive.
It is also important to be familiar with all four modes of writing. Understanding the differences between them will help you to choose the right mode for your own purposes.

It is often said that we don't see things the way they are, we see things the way we are.
This simple statement contains a great deal of truth.
Our individual experiences, beliefs, and perceptions color our understanding of the world around us.
As a result, two people can look at the same event and see entirely different things. This can lead to misunderstandings and conflict, but it can also be a source of strength and creativity.
When we open our minds to different perspectives, we can learn new things and gain a deeper understanding of the world.
So next time you find yourself in disagreement with someone, remember that you are both seeing things through your own unique lens. And who knows, you might just learn something new in the process~

There is a common misconception that excellence is about being the best at something.
However, excellence is not about being better than others, it is about doing your best. This means that excellence is relative and attainable for everyone. It is not about winning or coming first, it is about putting in the effort and giving it your all.
Excellence is a journey, not a destination. It is the result of consistently trying to improve and do better. It is about learning from your mistakes and striving to be better tomorrow than you were today.
So, don't strive to be the best, strive to be excellent. Do your best and let that be good enough~
