What a difference a day makes. Beautiful sun shined last day of the trip. We needed the extra energy from the sun to push through. Our last day included Lady Liberty, Ellis Island, 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street, Little Italy and finally headed home. What a trip!!

From the White House, The Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, to the powerful and poignant Vietnam Memorials, The Korean War Memorial and to top off the day a Ghost Tour of downtown Alexandria at night. We were very proud of the young men and women from MMS & Latimer today. They were able to tackle tough subjects with empathy and compassion. They also demonstrated their growing maturity by matching the seriousness of the subject matter with the appropriate tone and perspective. They also had a ton of fun when needed. All in all a great start to the trip!
