The dress of David in 2 Samuel 6 is important because he was a king from the tribe of Judah. Priests from the tribe of Levi wore Linen Ephod, a great testament to him “being in the moment,” for when God shows up earthly titles pale in comparison.

In 2 Samuel 6, David is described as wearing a linen ephod, never once does it say he danced out of his kingly garments. That was the accusation made against him.
