"Code and Confessions: When Senior Employees Train New Hires in IT"

Being a Senior IT Professional in a company comes with its own set of responsibilities. Not only are you expected to be a master of your craft 👨‍🎓, but you are also tasked with training new hires 👶. While this can be a rewarding experience, it can also lead to some "interesting" conversations 🤬.

So, what should you do if you find yourself in this situation?

✅First and foremost, don't take their comments too seriously. It's natural for people to vent about their workplace, and it doesn't necessarily mean that the company is a bad place to work.

✅Secondly, try to find the humor 🆒 in their comments. If you can laugh about it together, it can make for a more lighthearted training session.

✅Lastly, remember that senior developers have a wealth of knowledge 🔝 and experience to share with you. So, even if they do express some frustration, don't let that detract from the valuable insights they can offer.

In conclusion, training sessions with senior developers can be a great opportunity to learn and grow.

"Bug Hunting 101: How to Report Your First Bug in Jira with Style and Flair!"

Congratulations on finding your first bug 🪲 as a QA Tester! This is a major milestone in your journey towards becoming an expert bug hunter 👨‍💻. But now comes the next important step: Reporting the Bug.

A well-written bug report helps developers understand the issue and work towards a solution.

Now, onto the steps for reporting your first bug in Jira:

✔️Step 1: Start with a clear and concise title
Your title should summarize the issue at hand. Keep it short and sweet, but make sure it accurately reflects the bug.

Example: "Error message pops up when submitting form"

✔️Step 2: Provide a detailed description of the bug
This is where you can really shine as a QA Tester. Provide as much detail as possible about the bug you found. Be sure to include the steps to reproduce the issue, expected vs. actual results, and any relevant screenshots or error messages.

Example: "When submitting the form, an error message pops up that reads 'Invalid input. Please try again.' This occurs every time the form is submitted, even when all fields are filled out correctly. The expected result is for the form to be submitted successfully and a confirmation message to appear."

✔️Step 3: Assign the issue to the appropriate team member
In Jira, you can assign the issue to a specific developer or team member. This helps ensure that the bug is addressed in a timely manner.

✔️Step 4: Add any necessary attachments
If you have any screenshots, error messages, or logs that are relevant to the bug, be sure to attach them to the issue. This can help developers understand the issue and work towards a solution.

✔️Step 5: Submit the bug report and celebrate!
Once you've completed all the steps, submit the bug report and give yourself a pat on the back! You're one step closer to becoming an expert bug hunter.

Happy bug hunting! 👨‍💻

Agile Scrum: The Show Must Go On

After each Sprint in Agile Scrum, the Development Team is like a group of performers getting ready for a big show - Sprint Review Meeting. 🎭

Sometimes, despite the Development Team's best efforts, things can go wrong during a Sprint Review meeting in Agile Scrum. A feature might crash 💥, a bug 🪲 might rear its ugly head, or an unexpected error ⛔️ might pop up. But the mark of a truly talented team is their ability to improvise 🤹‍♂️ and adapt on the fly.

Emotions Run High: How Bugs Impact Developers, QA Testers, and Project Managers in Software Development

When a new bug is discovered in software, it can cause a range of emotions 😁😱🥹 for the team. The Developer might become a bit sad 🥹, their shoulders slumping as they think about the code they've written. They might even start questioning their entire career choice and wonder if they're cut out for this job. But don't worry, a cup of coffee and some debugging will usually get them back on track.

On the other hand, the QA Tester will be positively beaming with joy 😄 when they find a bug. It's like finding a hidden treasure in the software. They'll eagerly document the issue, do some happy dances around their desk, and may even send an email to the team with a subject line like "BUG FOUND!!!".

And then there's the Project Manager, who will likely become a bit worried 😱 when a bug is found. They'll start thinking about how this will impact the timeline and budget, and might even lose a few hours of sleep trying to come up with a plan to get things back on track. But don't worry, they'll pull out their trusty Gantt chart and start shuffling things around until everything fits together again.

Despite the different emotions that bugs can bring, the team always pulls together to find a solution. After all, it's all part of the exciting world of software development!
