New York City can be a hard place to live, I’m not gonna lie. But every once in a while, you have one of those “New York Nights” that makes it worth it. 🗽

Earlier this week, I was invited to enjoy a 5 course tasting menu prepared by to celebrate the launch of their new product, Sear&Serve.

The food was 🔥🔥🔥 (swipe to see pics—just make sure you’re not hungry first lol). They also gave us their new sous vide short rib to take home as a gift, which was very welcomed because I most definitely woke up the following morning wanting more. 😋

I know times are tough for many right now but if you’re looking for a special meal at home, I def recommend.

I also met some awesome women and we swapped some fun and at times scary stories of living in NYC—the perfect accompaniment to a great meal!

Heading into a big week of video calls and need some ideas on what to wear?

I hear this from my clients all the time. You want to look professional and feel confident, but you’re tired of the same ‘safe’ tops that make you feel the same old, same old.

Here’s the thing: what you wear ‘above the shoulders’ in that little box isn’t just an outfit. It’s a message. It’s a tool that communicates your presence, goals and authority before you even say a word.

The question is, are you sending the message you want to send? Let’s break it down:

🔵 Need to build trust? Blue says, “Trust me, I’m the expert.” My go-to for building new client relationships.

🔴 Feeling bold? Red says, “Listen up, I’m in charge.” Perfect for that big pitch.

🟢 Talking big ideas? Green says, “I’m focused on growth and new initiatives.”

⚫ Handling a serious convo? Black says, “I’m serious and focused.” It’s classic, authoritative, and chic (just make sure you wear a pop of color with a black top because black absorbs light and you don’t want to fade into the background!)

The point is, you don’t have to guess. You can be intentional.

Your style is a powerful part of your brand strategy. My mission is to help you elevate your presence so you can get all those opportunities you deserve.

One of my favorite things about doing pop ups is meeting people and seeing how they express themselves through what they wear. It can be something small, like a zipper earring (first time I’ve ever seen that!). Or it can be something more major, like a cool sparkly coat that literally lights up everything around you.

If you’re looking to feel the joy of style more but feel like you’re in a bit of a rut, in a transition period or simply don’t know where to begin, think of something you’d like to try but start small. A couple of quick tips:

1. Want to wear more color? Start with a small but bright accessory (like earrings, a bracelet or a scarf) and grow from there.

2. Sick of only wearing solids? Try some funkier patterns in neutral colors and then branch out from there.

And why does expressing yourself through your style even matter? Well for one, it impacts how we feel and has the power to boost our moods and mindsets. And secondly, it can open up new opportunities! A stranger compliments you on some aspect of your outfit and before you know it, that could lead to a new job or a new relationship. I’ve seen this happen in real life. :)

Have you ever wondered what the most popular statement accessories were by decade? Well, the other day I randomly wondered this and thought I’d ask AI ( to be exact ⭐️).

1. Is there anything you would add/delete? For example, I don’t think a hobble skirt is an accessory exactly but that’s definitely a trend I’m happy I missed.

I’m just getting around to posting pics but the energy was amazing last weekend!! What a gift to share pieces from my new Styled to Shine statement accessory boutique with New Yorkers and tourists on the UWS while at the same time getting that super valuable real time feedback on what pieces people are responding to most. There’s nothing like a pop up opportunity for that!

Also, you can’t beat the conversations. I really enjoyed meeting the fabulous Stephanie who modeled her brand new pair of The Colorful Statement Earrings. She had a beautiful style already rocking that purple (right?!) and the earrings just added just that extra pop of color. I linked them for purchase in case you or someone you love can use that pop of color too.
