A visit to “Tea Over Time” exhibition and events, part of its 125th anniversary celebration honoring generations of women who have shaped the New York Junior League’s legacy. Hosted at the NYJL’s beloved headquarters, The Astor House, this special series offered two sumptuous daytime tea events and an evening reception.

A highlight was Nancy Scully taking questions regarding her memories of the NYJL - guests were also quite excited about her recent feature on !

Walking by a literal head-turner on the Upper East Side. This limestone muse is one of the few surviving relics from Joseph Urban’s legendary Ziegfeld Theatre (1927–1965). While the grand palace at 54th & 6th is long gone, its theatrical spirit is alive and well. Framed by a brownstone stairpost that looks like it was plucked out of an ancient Greek theater, she’s still keeping watch over NYC’s denizens from a neighborhood areaway. Just gotta know where to look sometimes!
