Reality needs escaping on occasion and I’m so grateful to for inviting us into a robot world filled with deep human love. This show reminds us how limited our time is on earth and that love and the journey is what it’s all about. Congratulations and thank you to and everyone else who brought this story to life! ❤️

I am so grateful organized a meeting including so many of our Eaton Fire Collaborative partner nonprofits and government agencies and Our ask is clear. We need FEMA to provide master leasing and better/more case workers. While housing may be available, it is inaccessible for so many fire survivors. We all know of elderly that are having difficulty navigating assistance, with a fixed income, who were paying rental rates below the current market. Folks with less than 750 credit score. We’ve seen landlords demanding over twice monthly rent for deposit, demanding their renters make over 3-4 times rent, charging $100 per application. Turning down families of color in preference of white families. So many barriers in an already competitive market. This is happening now.
Soon, fire survivor home owners who have insurance will run out of it and will be unable to pay for rent and mortgage at the same time making it hard for them to hold onto their property.
We need to catch these survivors before they end up on the streets. My partners and I have been picking up families out of their cars and tents on burnt property and putting them in hotels for now, but our funding is limited. If you can and care please check out and donate to the nonprofits below

It’s been a week since our We’re All in This Together, Rebuilding with Resilience Fair at There were so many incredible, informative panels with experts on law, rebuilding, mental health, rental assistance, and regrowing. We’re working on editing them and will be sharing them online for the greater community. I know you’ll love them!
