🤝 爸爸的手大大的，宝宝的手小小的… (Dad‘s hands are big, baby’s hands are small…) but the love? 大大的 — so big! ❤️

Two pairs of siblings — ages 2 to 5 — performing a Mandarin rhythm piece together on stage. Neither family speaks Chinese at home. But these brothers and sisters practice together, cheer each other on, and make learning feel like play.

咖啡的咖 (kā)… is also 咖喱的咖 (gā). ☕🍛The “kā” in coffee is the same character as the “gā” in curry

🎵 Same character. Different sound. Completely different meaning.

The siblings tackle one of Mandarin’s trickiest challenges — 多音字 (polyphonic characters) — together, on stage, in song!

This is what siblings who learn together look like at the middle school level.

They don’t just practice Mandarin — they make fun, and even their parents couldn’t handle the challenge. That’s something they’ll carry long after the concert ends. 💛

🎹 She just turned 5. At our Annual Concert, she performed Bach’s Minuet in G Major — on stage, with complete poise. 🌸✨

So excited for CC’s next big adventure, heading to one of NYC’s most prestigious girls’ schools in the fall.💗

🎭 Meet our student artist — and #京剧 (Jīng jù), expert in the making!

He painted his very own Peking Opera scene, complete with Chinese characters, costumes, and Chinese annotations — all on his own. This is what happens when language learning meets art: kids don’t just memorize vocabulary, they own it. 🌟
