Classroom Transformation! Today I transformed my English classroom into a coffee shop. My 11th grade students hosted a Poetry Café where they recited original poems and served beverages and snacks. A fun way to end our poetry unit! 📜💛☕

The second semester is here, which means English Week is approaching! I am planning various activities and competitions for my students to promote English as a Second Language!

Having trouble with cell phone use in your classroom? This is how I am managing cell phones in my classroom this year.
I explain my expectations to students on the first day! This is their warning. They know that if they choose not to use the station and if I see a phone, that I will take it. We have been in school for a month now, and this system truly does work.
