⛱️ We are thrilled to welcome back Judy Glantzman ( ) this summer for Advanced Painting + Drawing Critique!

Once for an initial brief presentation to the group about your work and goals for this course and another time for a long critique at 30 minutes for feedback, context and research based prompts. There will also be a virtual artist talk + Q&A with artist Glenn Goldberg ( ). ✏️
🗓️ This class will start on Saturday June 6th and run through August 1st.

👀 Check out this incredible work by Samantha Eckert ( )!! Samantha is in Sharon Butler’s ( ) 2025-2026 Cohort in . Be sure to check out Samantha’s Instagram and website for closer looks at all the facets of her practice!
Samantha Eckert’s work lives in a suspended place, a threshold where something is becoming. The work feels akin to hovering. For Samantha they are portals, an escape from the scroll and feed and the feeling of being small inside something vast and indifferent. Making them is physical, a balance between energy and slowness, reconsidering and staying with a surface long past the point of comfort. The process is a collaboration with materials. The fluidity of poured paint and water calls for dynamic response and attention to color vibration and interaction— melting and merging, and surface texture.

🚀Enrollment for Canopy 2.0 2026-2027 is now LIVE!🚀
💥Canopy 2.0 is only open to those who have completed one year of The Canopy Program💥
➡️Canopy 2.0 is a three-semester program [Fall 2026, Mini-Winter 2027, Spring 2027] designed for artists who have completed year one of The Canopy Program. 👀 Check out this ✴️ incredible ✴️ work by Jordan Grace Owens ( )!! Jordan is in Meg Lipke’s ( ) 2025-2026 Cohort in . Be sure to check out Jordan’s Instagram and website for closer looks at all the facets of her practice!
Jordan Grace Owens is a multidisciplinary artist who creates colorful compositions of expressive abstract shapes. Educated in both fine arts and graphic design with a decade long career in figure illustration, Owens has over the last few years shifted focus to her studio practice. Her studio work — acrylic paintings, wooden constructions, and sewn canvases — explores a fluidity of boundary and form with shapes that are shifting and relational. Influenced by a surreally upended concept of physical individuality in motherhood, she is fascinated by the edges between body and object, self and other, surface and paint.
