Has your dancer been told their foot is sickling in turns? THIS might actually be why they're getting that⬇️
Many dancers have a natural inwards rotation that can present as a sickled foot and struggle for years hearing the same correction over and over.
Hi, I'm Anni! An international adjudicator who coaches dancers online to reach their competition goals.
If you're interested in getting feedback on your dancer's dancing, send me a DM☺️💜
This might be the reason your dancer is stuck at double pirouettes⬇️
As a dance adjudicator, this simple correction is one of the biggest ones seen on stage and can completely throw a dancer off in turns of balance and power for rotations.
Dance moms, if your dancer struggles with turns have them work on pushing off the back foot first and increasing how quickly the supporting leg straightens.
