Need help with an unexpected financial emergency? đź’™

The Gerstner Philanthropies Helping Hands Student Emergency Grant provides eligible Hostos students with short-term financial assistance for emergencies such as rent, utilities, medical expenses, transportation, childcare, loss of income, and more.

đź’° Awards of up to $3,000 may be available based on documented circumstances and funding.

Need help covering an unexpected expense? đź’™

The Carroll and Milton Petrie Foundation Student Emergency Grant provides eligible Hostos students with up to $1,500 per semester to help with financial emergencies.

Eligible students must:
🎓 Be currently enrolled at Hostos
đź“š Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
âś… Freshmen and transfer students are eligible

Funds may help with emergencies such as medical bills, childcare, temporary loss of employment, food, housing emergencies, theft, and more.
