The NYS CASAC Association is a professional membership organization dedicated to supporting and advancing Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASACs) across New York State. The Association advocates for high standards in recovery and addiction services, promotes continuing education and professional development, and serves as a collective voice for credentialed professionals in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) field. Through networking, leadership, and policy engagement, it strengthens the workforce and elevates the impact of CASACs in communities statewide.

This online training website is provided by DYSO (Do You See Opportunity), an OASAS Certified Education and Training Provider ( #0437) since 2003. Online learning programs may be relatively new, but DYSO was an early adopter of this technology. In fact, DYSO began offering distance learning classes more than 18 years ago and remains involved in all aspects of the (SUD/AUD/Recovery) training industry. DYSO created CasacOnline.org to provide behavioral health professionals the opportunity to obtain the entire 350-hours CASAC education and/or re-credential CASAC-CPP or CPS hours through distance learning education.
