Onto the next adventure: Botox for my Cerebral Palsy. Hoping this will bring me more movement, and less pain.

Dear God,
Thank you for this brand new month to continue to listen to what the universe is saying to me. There is so much negative energy out there. Still, today, I promise to listen to the positive vibrations that the universe is throwing out to me and continue to move forward in the direction that will make me feel good.
I am in charge of my life, and only I can say whether I want to continue to feel good or focus on those things that make me feel bad.
"There is a voice in the Universe urging us to remember our purpose for being on this great Earth. This is the voice of inspiration, which is within each and every one of us."

I can think of quite a few reasons to smile today.
1. I am alive and breathing
2. I have a body and brain that works
3. I have family who loves me.
4. I inspire and motivate others to make changes in their lives that they once thought that they couldn't.
What are some reasons that you have to smile today, let me know below π
Keep on keeping on, and have a great day, everyone.
You are not your old story, unless you choose to be. Make a conscious choice to change and move forward.

Receiving a message like this made my Monday. I love how simple promises I made to myself ten years ago are still helping others today.

In life, I've learned that most people don't take the time to understand what an invisible disability is but rather assume that the person living with one is okay.
An invisible disability can't be seen, but by the person living with one it is like our brains are being pulled in ten different directions at one time, not just because we choose to let stress affect us, but because we have no choice. An invisible disability robs you of the things that those not living with an invisible disability take for granted.
β
Going out with friends.
β
Going out period.
β
Feeling focused all the time
β
Being pain free
β
Feeling awake and refreshed, even though you may have woken up that way.
β
Enjoying time with your loved ones.
β
Working a full-time job
The list goes on..
With all of that being said, an invisible disability does not stop us from being
β
More resilient than most people
β
More grateful through our adversities
β
Stronger
β
More fearless, and adaptable through our challenges.
The list goes on, and on.. π
If you know, or love someone who has an invisible disability, don't ignore it. Try to understand it, show kindness, and don't treat them any different. π
The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. Keep moving forward despite what life throws at you. β
If you woke up today and you even took one small step towards something, you made progress today. Celebrate that.
Don't beat yourself up over the things you cannot change.

Dear God,
Thank you for this brand new day of this brand new week. I am grateful for all the steps that I have made towards my progress, and I will celebrate every little victory today.
As I step into this fourth day of December, I will remind myself that I am the voice, and the words I speak to myself hold the power to raise me up, or bring me down. I am good enough. I am capable of doing anything. I have peace in my heart. I speak hope into my life. Thank you.
I promise to continue to speak kindly to myself every day because I know that the kinder I am to myself, the nicer the world around me will be.
The only person who can pull me down is myself, and Iβm not going to let myself pull me down anymore. β C. Joybell C.
