Being a “good employee” used to be enough.

Day 7 of Seen, Valued, Heard, & Equipped

Corporate truths I’d tell you if I wasn’t scared to hurt your feelings…

👉 Being loyal doesn’t mean your job is safe! These companies will drop you in a hot second if it means keeping the bottom line in the green.

👉 Titles don’t equal power.Power is about accessibility.

👉 Promotions don’t go to the best performers, they go to the best storytellers. Talk about the work you do often!

👉 Meetings don’t happen just for information, they happen to display power. Pay attention to who’s on the invite list.

👉People who keep the organization running very rarely run the organization.
Office politics aren’t optional. Play smart or get played.

👉 Job hopping pays the bills. Job hoppers see an average of 30% - 35% increase in pay.
