Just a reminder for everyone, our next Alzheimer’s Support Group meeting will be on Monday September 14th @ 2pm at New Wilmington Presbyterian. We will have Linda Camlin as our guest speaker. Linda will talk about her journey supporting her husband in his battle with dementia. We look forward to seeing you all there!

What great recognition for our IL resident, Lee Ahlum - Congratulations Lee!! 👏🙌👏

Lee Ahlum, Rotarian and Past SUperintendent for WASD, met with the new Superintendent for Wilmington schools, Dr Kevin Briggs. A "former long-time Superintendent meets new Superintendent". Thanks for making this happen, President Jeff Arnold of New Wilmington Rotary.

It was a beautiful day exploring Hippley Garden and spending time together. There’s nothing better than getting out into the community, making memories, & sharing smiles!! We spent time shopping and enjoyed lunch at the Dutch Haus. Mmm! 😋

We have a very special accomplishment to share with everyone. Shenango on the Green celebrated Ursula’s AMAZING 40 years of work!! Starting in 1986 and working in various roles throughout her time at SOG, Ursula’s hard work, dedication, and care for our Community is always on display. Congratulations Ursula - YOU ROCK!! 🎉👏🙌

Santa made an early stop at Shenango on the Green for Christmas in July!! 🎅✨ We celebrated with the Camp Crestfield crew over cookies, crafts, festive tunes, and frozen hot chocolate. ❄️☕. Lots of fun and good tidings for all!!

Aloha everyone!! Our residents enjoyed a festive Luau w/ tropical treats, colorful lei, lively music, & plenty of smiles. 🏝️🏝️🏝️ …It was a wonderful celebration of friendship, community and island-inspired fun! A special thank you to “Greenville Steel” - the Greenville High School steel drum band for their incredible performance! 👏👏

SOG hosted our Red, White & Blue social!! Residents and staff participated in a Friendly Family Feud game and enjoyed some delicious patriotic themed snacks. Great fun and a great day celebrating our 250th!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

🤠 What a rootin'-tootin' good time we had at our Wild West BBQ!! From singing karaoke 🎤 to line dancing 💃🕺🏻- so much fun and so many smiling faces!! Thank you to all of our amazing residents who joined us for a spectacular evening of smoky food, country music, and community spirit. The energy was incredible, and you all brought your best cowboy and cowgirl spirit to the party!!

What a great time celebrating at our Annual Service Recognition event!! We hosted a lunch reception celebrating our staff’s service milestones, as well as honoring our 2025 Spirit of Caring and You Rock award winners. The event included a visit from our President & CEO Jim Pieffer, and a lovely lunch catered by Jennifer Terrazas. Congratulations to all of our winners!! 👏 🎉 🙌
