Forum is the theatre organization at MLC. It is the continuation of a pre-amalgamation theater tradition.

We were formally organized in 1995 as Martin Luther College begin its first year of operation.

We are thrilled to begin announcing our 2026–2027 season lineup. Kickstarting the year is our fall musical production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, running November 6–8, 2026.

Get ready for an unforgettable theatrical experience! This fall, MLC’s stage bursts to life with a vibrant celestial celebration of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Originally created as a “pop cantata” for a school choir in 1968, this beloved musical has evolved into Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s rapid-fire, high-energy, international sensation, delighting audiences worldwide. MLC’s production will showcase the biblical story and iconic tunes, grounding them in the joy of a gospel-oriented perspective where what was intended for harm has been transformed into good. We invite you to join our heavenly disco and experience a dreamscape filled with technicolor delight, excitement, and joy!

Forum Friday! To close out our board introductions, we are thrilled to feature our wonderful faculty advisor, Christine Thompson!

Christine loves working with everyone at Forum, especially drawing inspiration from the community's creativity, heart, and energy.

Forum Friday!
Continuing onward with our 2026-2027 Forum Board introductions, we have a familiar face! Noah served on the board last year and has now been promoted to President!

Noah looks forward to this year, as he is excited to serve the Forum organization as best he can alongside his fellow board members and faculty advisor, Mrs. Thompson. He cannot wait to find out who all gets involved with Forum this year and how everyone can work together to continue making it a very special organization. He is excited to see where God takes the team this coming year!

Bailey is so excited to help grow the Forum community and bring fresh, new ideas to the team this year. Theatre is a huge part of her life, and she is absolutely thrilled to share that passion with everyone around her. Bailey truly loves getting to know people and can’t wait for all the amazing connections and conversations ahead!

Forum Friday!!
Next up in our 2026–2027 board highlights is our Secretary, Jenna Weigand!

Jenna is excited to further her involvement in Forum and learn new aspects of theatre and organization. She is also thrilled to support the Forum community just as she has been supported in the past 2 years. There is something for everyone in Forum and fun all around!

We're excited to welcome Jenna to the board and see how her gifts benefit Forum this year!

FORUM FRIDAY is officially here, and so is our new Board for the 2026-2027 season!🎉
First up in the lineup is Treasurer Sophia Horn from San Diego, CA.
Sophie is excited to grow the Forum community and loves the connections she gets to build throughout the year. She hopes to share that with more people this year!

We are so excited to welcome Sophie and see how she uses her God-given gifts this year!

MLC forum would like to thank everyone who came to our Swing Dance event! We had such a great turnout. Thank you to Samarah, from Flo Dance, for spending your evening with us!

The 2025-2026 Forum season has come to a close. Our final show, The BFG, was a wonderful success. Our cast performed in eight shows this past weekend and welcomed thousands of students onto the Martin Luther College Campus. Thank you to all who attended and helped to make this show a success!
