🏃🏃‍♀️ It was a beautiful day last week to host the MVL LES Cross Country Meet! Thank you to everyone that came not only to run, but to cheer on the runners. It was so fun to see so many smiles, conversations, and words of encouragement. A special THANK YOU to our coaches and MVL team for all the work it took to make this possible.
We love hosting future Chargers on campus! 💙⚡

🏈🏃 A few more fun pictures from last Friday! Before the game, the cross country team kept the tradition alive by running the game ball from MVL into town to the football field, never letting it drop until they handed it off to Coach Buboltz. The Homecoming Court got in on the fun, too, tossing candy to the crowd! 🍬

⚡ Just a glimpse of some of the fun from the Pep Fest last week! If some of the photos leave you wondering what was going on, just know a heated game of Charades was happening. 🙂

📚 The sophomores are beginning a new unit focused on the essential question, "What makes a monster?" Yesterday they read children's books to each other and discussed internal and external monstrous qualities.
It all sounds monstrously amazing! 🙂

🏈 Powder Puff is always one of the must-see events of Homecoming, and last week was no different! Behind some excellent coaching, there was a lot of great football played. Competition was high, cheers were loud, jumping jacks were completed, and the seniors walked away with the repeat title! 🏆

🎉 Congratulations to Nathaniel Carlovsky as he recently was recognized and named as a 2027 National Merit ® Commended Scholar! The program honors individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. From more than 1.2 million program entrants, these students are among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. The number of Semifinalists in a state is proportional to the state’s percentage of the national total of graduating seniors. From the 50,000 high scorers nationwide, approximately 16,000 were named National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists, representing the top scorers in each state. The other 34,000 were named commended scholars.

Way to go, Nathaniel! To God be the Glory!
