Summer at EMDS! ☀️

As our summer sessions have come to an end, we wanted to reflect on what an incredible summer we had! 🏖️

We had weekly clinics for ages 8-11 & 12+, as well as two competition exclusive clinics, weekly privates & semi-privates, and our Little Groovers class! 🩰

We've seen so much improvement in all of the amazing kids who have showed up this summer, great work dancers! 💪🏻

Next up, the fall season begins Monday, September 14th, we'll see you all then. In the meantime, make sure you're signed up on portal for your fall classes! 💙🍂

We had a super awesome week here at EMDS and we just had to share!💙

Our Hip Hop clinics were absolutely incredible! We saw 22 dancers ages 6-17 for hip hop clinics this week!!! Super proud of each of these kids and all the effort they have put in, thank you all🫶🏻

We also had our Little Groovers class (ages 18mo-3y) and had so much fun learning some tap basics, rhythm, and creativity with scarves.

This summer we have our Competition Team Clinic (Aug 12) and a few more Little Groovers classes left. After that, we'll see you all in September!

💙We are so excited to be sharing our Competition Team placements tomorrow, July 27th at 7:00pm! Dancers who are signed up for a competition team will receive an email with their team placements for the 2026-2027 season! The email will also include the required shoes for each team and what competitions we will be attending for the year!

❓Want to compete with us? Reach out directly to one of the teachers for information on the program! Our competitive dancers develop performance and teamwork skills throughout the year!

Always a favorite with the kids! We will have TWO hip hop clinics next week on Tuesday and Wednesday! Due to popular demand, we have expanded the age group for the younger clinic, now it is open to dancers aged SIX to ELEVEN! These clinics will focus on building confidence through movement and developing new skills and tricks!

☀️Tuesday, July 28th (6:00-8:00pm)Hip Hop clinic (Ages 12-18)

☀️Wednesday, July 29th (5:00-7:00pm): Hip Hop clinic (Ages 6-11)

We will be taking a look at ALL classes offered for each age!

Next up… our classes for our boys! While boys are welcome to participate in every style and class, we offer a speciality class in hip hop just for them! This classes focuses on rhythm, groove and choreography. Open to boys aged 6 years and older!
