Northwest Children's Centre, Inc. / Childcare & Preschool Center Northwest Children's Centre, Inc. began operating in August of 1997. The daycare is family owned and operated serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Providing quality, educational childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to serve the New Tripoli/Germansville communities along with the surrounding areas. The daycare holds a Pennsylvania Keystone Star 4 accreditation which meets the highest standards of quality childcare. Northwest Children's Centre has a license capacity for 138 children through (DHW) Department of Human Services. The facility is equipped with seven classrooms to meet the needs of each age group. Our teacher's come highly qualified with education backgrounds.

Toddlers had a busy day today! First, we celebrated national Play-Do day and got our hands messy! Then, we put our brains to work and sorted crops! Recently toddlers have been talking about farms, and all the different types of crops grown around us! The main crops we focused on today were potatoes, corn, and peas! Toddlers worked hard to sort their crops into the correct color category! We then wrapped up our day with some nice fresh air and looking at the fields of crops around the daycare!

Today in Preschool, we learned about Labor Day while creating our own popsicle stick flags! We practiced counting as we counted our popsicle sticks and worked on our fine motor skills while gluing the sticks onto paper. We used paint sticks to color our flags red, white, and blue. While creating, we talked about the shape of the flag, its colors, symbols, and what they represent. We also practiced teamwork, sharing, and following directions as we worked together. It was a fun, hands-on way to celebrate and learn about Labor Day! 🇺🇸
