Tomorrow should have been our first day back to school as we entered our 9th year at Ebenezer Preschool. This year would have been our biggest group of children to date. Ken Kistler, Preschool Committee President, Miss Bev and myself were so excited for another successful preschool season. Unfortunately Ebenezer Church did not share in our vision. It is with a heavy heart I share what will be my last post. Thank you to everyone who has supported Ebenezer Preschool. We have touched a lot of young children's lives and their famiiles lives in such a positive way! I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity and proud of what we have done in our short 8 years. Bob Robert Nagle thank you for your vision and dedication 8 years ago.
Dear Mr. Snyder,
When approached by Stewardship 8 yrs. ago to begin a preschool at Ebenezer it was my hope and prayer that we could bring to Ebenezer the best possible preschool program we had to offer and help to re build an already struggling church.
I have recently come to the realization that although we have built a preschool program many in our community and surrounding communities have come to know, trust and return to year after year, the church is still struggling and possibly in more trouble that it was 8 yrs. ago.
I no longer feel what I have to offer Ebenezer is enough.
I have attached my letter of resignation effective immediately.
I would like to thank those of you who have supported the Ebenezer Preschool and contributed to its success.
I will continue to keep Ebenezer Church in my prayers and wish only the best for its future.
Sincerely,
Debra Wanamaker
