A Message to Our NTPS Families

If you believe your child is being bullied, please tell us.

New Town Public Schools takes bullying concerns seriously. In order for administration to investigate and respond appropriately, we need to know when a concern occurs. We cannot address what we do not know about.

If your child reports bullying, please:

Complete the NTPS Bullying Report: https://5il.co/8odg

Use the STOPit app to report bullying, harassment, or safety concerns. Reports can be submitted anonymously: https://appweb.stopitsolutions.com/

Encourage your child to speak with a trusted adult at school.

Provide specific details, including who, what, when, where, and how often.

Please Remember: Confidentiality Matters

We understand that parents want to know what happens after reporting a concern. Just because you don't see a change or receive details about consequences does not mean the school has done nothing.

Administration investigates reported concerns and takes appropriate action when warranted. However, student privacy laws limit what we can share about another student's disciplinary consequences—just as we would never share your child's private disciplinary information with another parent.

Please report concerns promptly and work with us to help keep our students safe. Our students deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported at school.
