We love music with Mr Kurt! All of our classes have music and the smiles and joy are seen every time. Music helps with brain development, builds language and literacy skills and supports social emotional growth.

K Bridge wanted to make things move this week. They used recycled materials to move ping pong balls. Lots of trial and error, persistance, teamwork and smiles.

We love outdoor play at Weekday! Students use natural materials to enhance their play. Whether it’s water, mud, wood or plants our students use their imaginations and materials that are in our outdoor space to create.

Happy National Play-Doh Day! Did you know play doh was invented in the 1930s as a wall paper cleaner? It transitioned to a toy in 1956 and over 3 billion jars have been sold since then!
We love play doh at Weeekday. It’s a wonderful tool that helps pre-writing skills, self-regulation skills and sensory play.
Check out some of the ways we’ve been exploring play doh this year!

🎶🍦 What a special day at Weekday! We had the wonderful Laura Doherty come visit us for a fun-filled concert and ice cream social! Our students had the BEST time singing, dancing, laughing, and enjoying a sweet treat together. Thank you, Laura, for sharing your music and bringing so much joy to our school community! 💛🎸✨

The smiles say it all — our kids had an amazing time!
