Cooperatives Helping Cooperatives!

Our linemen are still at Escambia River Electric Cooperative, Inc., working hard alongside fellow linemen to help restore power to members affected by the storm.

We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, hard work, and willingness to answer the call when another cooperative needs a helping hand. We are proud of these men who represent PC Electric so well and remind us what the cooperative spirit is all about.

Please keep our linemen and all the crews working in the field in your thoughts and prayers as they continue their restoration efforts. We wish them safe travels and a safe return home!

That’s the cooperative difference — neighbors helping neighbors, no matter how far from home.

Please Keep Our Linemen in Your Prayers!

Our PC Electric linemen are heading to Escambia River Electric Cooperative, Inc. to help restore power to members affected by the hurricane. We ask that you keep these crews in your thoughts and prayers as they travel and work to get the lights back on for those who need it most.

One of the things that makes electric cooperatives special is the way we come together to help one another. The cooperative principle of Cooperation Among Cooperatives reminds us that when one cooperative needs help, others step up to lend a hand. Through mutual aid, cooperatives work together across state lines to restore power, support our fellow cooperatives, and serve our communities when disaster strikes.

We are proud of our linemen for answering the call to help their fellow cooperatives and their members. Please join us in wishing them safe travels, safe working conditions, and a safe return home to their families.

Once a cooperative, always a cooperative. We are stronger when we work together!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and once again, our linemen are wearing pink hats to show their support.

Those pink hats represent something bigger than a color. They are a reminder of the women and men who are currently fighting breast cancer, those who have fought and survived, and those we have sadly lost.

Our linemen spend their days working hard to keep the lights on for our members. This month, they’re also helping us shine a little light on an important cause and the people whose strength inspires us all.

To everyone fighting, surviving, supporting a loved one, or remembering someone special — we see you, we stand with you, and we honor you.

October is National Cooperative Month!

When you hear the word “co-op,” you may think of your electric cooperative — but electric cooperatives are just one part of a much bigger cooperative family.

Across our communities, cooperatives help people work together to meet needs and create stronger communities. You can find cooperatives in many different industries, including:

• Electric cooperatives
• Credit unions and financial cooperatives
• Agricultural and farm cooperatives
• Food and grocery cooperatives
• Housing cooperatives
• Telephone and broadband cooperatives
• Child care and worker cooperatives

While the products and services may be different, cooperatives share something important: they are built around the people they serve.

At PC Electric, that means our members are more than customers. You are the reason we are here. We are proud to be part of the cooperative world and to carry on the cooperative tradition of neighbors helping neighbors.

Every day, we work to provide safe, reliable and affordable electricity while supporting the communities we are privileged to serve.

Happy National Cooperative Month from all of us at PC Electric!

We’re proud to be your cooperative — and even prouder to power the members who make our cooperative strong.
