We had a great first day!

Today students learned they are free to make their own choices, but every choice has a consequence either positive or negative. They were free to pick as few as 5 M&M's or up to a Dixie cup full. Students didn't realize that for each M&M they had to write a sentence. Some students were happy with their consequence, others were not! Best part was eating the M&M's.
