Join us for a special afternoon of creativity, laughter, and memories at our Grand Event! Together you’ll create and decorate your very own birdhouse to take home while spending quality time with someone special.

MORNING ARRIVAL REMINDERS:

Good afternoon, parents and guardians,Please review these important reminders for student drop-off tomorrow morning, Friday, August 21:

Enter the school campus on Franklin-Laurel Rd. by the bus barn.

Stay in your vehicle at all times during drop-off to keep the line moving safely. If you have a child in a car seat, move it to the drivers side.

Practice unbuckling seatbelts with your child tonight so they can exit quickly.

Direct your children to walk straight up the main walkway to the entrance.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and our morning traffic flowing smoothly!

KINDERGARTEN DROP OFF DIRECTIONS

Kindergarten starts Friday, August 21st. We are so excited to receive your littles in the morning.

For drop off: enter from Franklin-Lauren Rd. by the bus barn. There will be someone posted at the end of the gravel drive with a sign for Kindergarten drop off. You will be let through to park and walk your student to their teachers and take your pictures.

This will be for Friday ONLY! If you have a students in a carseat, I would suggest putting the on the drivers side to allow for drop off to run smoothly.

As Ben’s Eagle Scout Project, this incredible space was completely rebuilt through countless hours of planning, hard work, and teamwork. Thanks to your generosity, our students now have a safe, beautiful place where they’ll make memories for years to come.

Ben, we’re so proud of your leadership, dedication, and commitment to giving back to our school. Donnie, thank you for your guidance, support, and hard work every step of the way.

And to every volunteer who moved dirt, hauled gravel, cut lumber, dug holes, or lent a helping hand—thank you. Your time and generosity have made a lasting impact on Monroe Elementary.

NEW ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL ROUTE

To ensure a smooth and safe drop-off and pick-up process at our school, guardians are to enter the drop off/pick up line from Franklin Laurel Rd. Students should remain in their vehicles until a staff member signals that it's time for them to exit. This procedure helps us maintain an orderly flow of traffic and ensures the safety of all students.

Good Morning -

As of 9:00 AM, the phone lines are currently down at both Monroe Elementary and the Bus Garage. Please note that both locations still have power, and Monroe Elementary remains open for in-person enrollment support.

Additionally, transportation for New Richmond Prep and Grant Career Center began today. Due to downed trees and power lines in the area, please be aware that some bus stops may have been missed this morning.
